Enjoying a Bushmills 10 Single Malt. Will put up a little review here after working down the bottle a bit.
First impressions: Very good. I believe I will be diverting my whisky journey for a time to explore the smaller number of Irish whiskey offerings. Green Spot, Yellow Spot, Bushmills 16 & 21 are on my radar now....

My go to Scotch I LOVE IT!
I want a cup of Irish Coffee.......but I need to get a new bottle of BlackBush. I have a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey, but I prefer Old Bushmills
Saw this at the SAQ (govt monopoly liquor store here in Quebec) And thought I love Pumpkin pie and so does my dad, this would make a great xmas gift. But decided I had better try it out myself before giving it my father. Unfortunately it is like every other flavoured whiskey/rum/spirit Ive tried. FAR TOO SWEET. Not ot the point of being undrinkable as some of them are but really a shame on what otherwise might have been an interesting new flavour. It will probably last me 10-20 years before I finish the bottle.

Have you guys seen the video on YouTube titled Nick Offerman's 'Yule Log' where the actor sits in front of a fire and drinks Lagavulin for 45 minutes?
Anyway, I'm having Laphroaig 10 yo tonight. I may or may not start a fire in the fireplace.
Well after a long day of adventures finding our Christmas tree in the forest and getting the little one to bed I'm finally enjoying a glass of Red Breast 12 yr Irish whiskey. Well earned I think.
