I just got back from a fishing escape with buddies who are also teachers. One of them brought a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel. That stuff if just delicious-sweet and mild and one of my new favorites (and I normally go for big, bold bourbons like Knob Creek and similar (or Laphroiag Cask Strength in scotch). I will be getting a bottle of this for my birthday Friday if I have to buy it myself!

We're sharing a dram of Sheep Dip Blended Scots Whisky. I added a few drops of spring water to open it up a bit. Really nice for a blend at the price.

Went to pick up a bottle of Woodford Reserve and a Makers Mark only to stumble onto a 1.75ml bottle of woodford...it normally comes in .75ml.
