Thread: Scotch/whiskey of the day

So speaking of mixed bourbon drinks I have a bottle of Bombay Saphire East which aside from all the regular botanicals found in the original gin has added lemongrass and peppercorn to the mix. It doesn’t do well with vermouth IMO, so I though, hmmm whiskey martini maybe?

Gentlemen, it is a winner. Slice of lemon floating added to bump the lemongrass and wow, shaking up my third and final for the night.
A suggested try. Shall call it a Kentucky martini I believe..

Can’t explain it, like Salt and caramel, they just work together..
Figure I have Tc mad at the ice, let alone the diluting of fine Kentucky hooch,, hehe.
