    Just finished off the bottle of Laphroaig QC that I had poured into the carafe to make the bottle into a lamp for a friend!
    Still some Ardbeg 10 and Caol Ila to go through. Will replace the Laphroaig and add some Lagavulin and probably Ardbeg's Uigeadail when we do a border run next.

    Something that is seriously worth a poke is a non-Scotch from my old stamping ground of Ireland. Connemara peated single malt. Which is bizarre, as most Irish whiskeys are triple distilled and unpeated. This is basically a made-in-Ireland scotch - it is double distilled and peated. Think Caol Ila with a little more smoke.

    Connemara is also a stunning place. I lived in east Galway, but ventured into the wild many times. Nothing quite like that here.
