Wife is away so it's just me this weekend. No plans, just laying around being left alone. Last night I had the pleasure of enjoying some Salsa from my favorite Mexican restaurant. I don't usually like Salsa, but this place makes it really good. Last time I asked if they sold it to go. Unfortunately they don't, but the manager was kind enough to provide a small container of it to go.
I'm not a big Mexican food person but if your in Philadelphia check out El Azteca Uno on Chestnut street. A little Knob creek to go along and all was well with the world. Sorry for the sideways photo, some day I'll figure out how to fix it.

I went to get a replacement Lag 16. Saw this and the Glendronach Peated and got very distracted from my initial mission. Been wanting to try the Talisker 10, so that's what I ended up deciding on. Very happy with my decision.

I'm convinced Talisker was better 15 years ago. Thanks for mentioning the Glandronach peated. I hadn't heard of that, but I was very impressed by their 15 year old revival so I'll look out for it.

Talisker 10. More than any other scotch for me, Talisker 10 has a fresh cracked black pepper bite to it. It's so unique that way for me. My cabinet wouldn't feel complete without a bottle even though I don't have it that often.
