There was much conversation and mulling but with a few farm projects going over budget (surprise surprise), budget said "we can have a new bodum".

I'm going to get a repair estimate on the Sylvia and see if it's worth doing.

My Baratza Sette 30 AP arrived last week. In the end we had major car repairs, so I went for the 30 instead of the 270. I don't need all the bells and whistles anyways, and I can easily upgrade parts if the grind needs to be dialled in more precisely (when I get the espresso machine). But so far, for Aeropress and Hario pourover it had made an incredible difference in the quality of our coffee!

I love my Aeropress! Especially when travelling. I made a few cups on my recent flight back home.

Amazing! I also travel with the Aeropress (including camping), but I've never made coffee on a plane! I've thought about it, but never went through with it. I have, however, made Aeropress coffee on a tour bus.

I hope you had a good vacation, Badgister!

You are the man, Badgister! I use my AeroPress daily and flying with one could help ease the torture and shock of commercial air travel. So long as the person in front of you does not have their chair fully reclined into your barista space...

Ha! Thanks guys. Well the gent seated in front of me was fully reclined for the entire flight. Alas, I was lucky to have an empty seat next to me for some extra barrista space.

    I highly recommend it!
