Not really french press, much cleaner and smoother, they come with 350 filters. The coffee they make is really good. I am currently using a balinese medium roast for all my coffee making. App 40g in a stovetop, aeropress or woodneck pour over. Just with different grinds.

With the aeropress i use a cheap electric grinder because it is my pre work coffee and i don't have the time to hand grind, i go for a medium verging on coarse grind and brew for as long as it takes me to get ready (5-10 mins) with the woodneck i use a hario hand grinder set between 6 and 9 notches from completely closed, 9 seems to work the best for flow rate, in the stovetop it is around 3 notches. I use them at home as i have more time. I prefer the woodneck though stovetop filtered through the woodneck cloth filter is pretty good too

Thanked: 4206Had to go into the plant, 4 am today. Fun stuff that always is on 4 hrs sleep.
Luckily, we have a saeco automatic rig at work that was loaded with kimbo beans.
Best crema I have had the pleasure of generating.
This one was a long espresso. Got me home safely.
Enjoy your Saturday men."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 2284Holy crap Mike. Now that's a coffee machine for the shop! Someone there takes their coffee pretty seriously I'd guess. I'd take advantage of that every damn day.
My coworker and I have been toying with the idea of getting a Kurig for the truck. Unfortunately, with the way we pack the truck, it may not last a week before getting a 2x4 through the face. We're trying to find one at a thrift store.Last edited by HARRYWALLY; 02-18-2017 at 03:04 PM.

Thanked: 4206Oh I do visit a few times every day Andrew.
Downloaded the manual and took over care and control of it as well. We were an Italian owned company before the latest acquisition. And our receptionist still is. She has clout in the front office and insisted we keep 'a respectable coffee' available for guests and staff.
A mobile kuerig,, that is a neat idea.. Gave away our tassumo a few years back when I bought this same AIO unit. Should have kept it for just such an idea..
That snickero sounds delicious. Might have to order a bag or two to try.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Cleo the 67Cremina did her usual fine production.
A Burman Coffee green bean blend roasted with Yerghachef and run through a type one Vario she never fails to please. Lattes, with a double shot, are my drink of choice.

Thanks for the clarification, Ed. I only meant that it operates like a French Press since it uses a plunger; the resulting coffee is definitely cleaner due to the filter and overall better-tasting.
I grind to an espresso consistency since I got used to straight espresso, I desire a strong cup of joe. This forces me to lean my upper body on top of my hands while operating the plunger. FWIW, I always take the time to make great coffee in the morning since I obsessed over espresso long before the razors.--Mark
