Even Better, a bit too soon since roasting, Mexican Chiapas FTO as a Latte; sitting by the window and enjoying no snow this AM. Coffee beans and weather will improve with time.

A fine eastern morning having a mixed blend of roasted coffee, French press of course. Happy Easter gentleman!
Any coffee recommendations for someone that doesn't normally like coffee? Maybe a lighter roast?
I'm sure a bunch of vanilla cream and foam wouldn't hurt either, but I think some of those Starbucks type drinks don't have as much coffee in them judging by the number of calories.
A fine Easter morn and I am enjoying my patented Latte in a Mason jar mug. Today a great Mexican bean from my local roaster.
PS. get to know your roaster if local or, if you often buy from a online roaster, he can let you know of his latest find and may have a very little of it. I am fortunate to get the favorites a day or two post roast. As I have a hot lever machine, lighter roasts are my best choices. Let them rest and then vacuum in 100g bag about half or so, and then use the rest daily till gone

Personally, I drink it black to enjoy the essence of the beans.I will use a splash of milk on generic coffee.

I would agree about *$. A lighter roast may not work well unless you have very hot water to brew it (about just off the boil in a pot/ the time it takes from stopping heating to get the pour started,maybe 204F). Then, do it in a pour over type brewer. Like a Melita or similar type of maker. That will bring out the sweeter flavors,but may still need a cream to get the best taste you want.

We have a Breville coffee machine that grinds the beans before brewing. It actually makes an exceptional pot of coffee with the advantage that I can set it to have coffee ground and ready for us when we get up in the morning. The grinder is noisy enough that the machine is also a functional alarm clock.
I haven’t had the luxury of freshly roasted beans, but this machine, in my estimation, produces coffee nearly as flavourful us my French press.
