I am also the proud owner of an aeropress as are a number of others in the office.

Im under orders to roll back my coffee intake to one or two cups a day. So like to have a decent cup amdbthe aeropress definitely makes a good cup.

I invert it and add 2 scoops of ground coffee. Then i fill my cup up, pour as much as I can into the aeropress. Then i stir it and wander off, occasionally restirring as I wander about for a few minutes. Then i put on the filter and press down over 20 to 30 sec.

    Works for me.

I go with the invert too. plunger in far enough to hide the rubber, 4 scoops or there abouts, fill with water to 1 and stir.
Leave to stand whist I wipe out the grinder and funnel.
Top up with water and restir.
Remove stirrer and leave to stand.
keep topping up until the water level stops dropping (over a minute or so).
    Stand for a bit.
    Fit filter thingy.
    Press coffee into cup.
Add half a scoop of caramel syrup.
Top cup up with hot water to about 3/4.
    Add milk.

Might incorporate some of that lol. May extend my desk free time for an extra minute or two 😂
