Don't know why Tabac and Clubman are called lotions but I have both and they are liquid but not as thin as Aqua Velva. They feel slightly oily, if that is the right word.

Yes, true enough. The confusion starts with the label on both Tabac and Clubman Pinaud stating "after shave lotion". I did not order Tabac AS for the longest time because of that labeling but bough it in a store when I saw it was really a liquid.
