Portland General Store Whiskey
I'm loving this aftershave. It's a splash but feels like a balm on the skin. Very little burn and leaves the smooth and moist. The smell is actually growing on me too. Any one else a PGS Whiskey fan?

Thanked: 375I went through two soap pucks and two bottles of aftershave from PGS a couple years back. I like their stuff it works well. BUT...the shave soap and AS started disagreeing with my skin. Don't know if they changed their formula or not so I haven't bought anymore.
I personally loved the earthy scent.CHRIS

Glad you posted that. I was thinking about getting a puck of their soap. I've had reactions to 2 soaps before, geo f trumpets and C&E. Experiences I don't want to repeat.

Thanked: 4What was the grief that the two soaps gave you? I've been using C&E Nomad lately and have also been having some skin issues. I seem to be breaking out but didn't think about the soap. I just recently started using it daily. I was only using it once every two to three weeks but I ran out of the col. conk amber I was using as my daily "go to". I even went so far as to stop shaving my head for about two weeks and I grew my goatee back because of the break out at the corners of my mouth. It took almost three weeks for my mouth break out to stop and finally heal, (I can still feel irritation so haven't shaved).
The other change for me is trying to use a DE on my head. I think my lack of stretching the skin is irritating my scalp due to multiple passes and surface irregularities. I'm going to go back to using only the HB sport on my head to see if that makes a difference.
Happy shaving gents,
G

Thanked: 375GGoongreen, for me it seemed to cause a burning sensation. But like I said this was before their reformulation. Good stuff otherwise...

My experience with C&E Myrrh Soap is in this thread: http://straightrazorpalace.com/begin...elyn-ouch.html
Had a milder and less painful experience with Geo F. Trumpers Coconut Soap.
