    I have not used it as aftershave, but i use it on burns.

    Aloe plants are great.

    Aloe Vera is great stuff. It grows everywhere here in NZ. I just cut, or snap off a bit of a leaf, and then slice it up the side so I can get at the good stuff.

    You can squeeze it out too, but that gets a little messier.
