Two things helped my acne more than anything else. Washing with Noxzema and shaving with a straight.
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

Best thing I ever did was go to a dermatologist. The guy gave me a "one-two" punch of a light antibiotic pill and a topical foam that got rid of my acne in a matter of days. Now I've never had a really bad problem with it, but at 44 years old, it really sucks getting the occasional big red honker on my face and I never really ever got rid of backne until this guy hooked it up.

Of course, when I stop taking it, it comes back after a while, but when I know I'm going to be going to the beach or have a job interview or toehr important event coming up, I make sure two weeks before I've got that one-two combination working to be ready for "game day."

I hang out with older Women. They're past the acne stage by then.

Witch hazel, any kind really, will help sooth your skin. It's good for blemishes, cuts, etc. The big thing with acne is don't "pop" them. The stuff inside is loaded with bacteria, and you can spread it this way. And if you have to, I would suggest carefully removing it from your skin, and give your face a good cleaning with Witch hazel on the area after.

Find a good face wash that doesn't dry your skin out, and wash a couple times a day. Also, drink lots of water during the day. This helps your body flush out toxins. Good luck!
