I PIF'D it to a friend that just started out with a DE and he loves it. I have no idea i use allot of sandal wood products, and i have never been allergic to product before so it was just luck of the straw. Maybe one day i'll try one of there other types but at that price I'm afraid to spend the cash. Ive been using paraso balm and thats been working well. Was just bummed as everyone seems to really like the stuff.

Sorry for the late response i forgot i posted this thread.

I love sandalwood, but have had irritation with it in the past. It really depends on who made it. Not all Sandalwood oil is created equal! This company works find for me, that company gives me a rash sort of thing. Impurities? or the reverse "too" concentrated? Dont know. But I do know, if it itches, DONT USE IT!

Yep me too, but I was lucky enough to get a rash for about 2 days also! I even gave it a second shot a couple weeks later and got the same result. I gave it away after that. I was totally bummed cause I liked the stuff.

In my case in regards Trumper's I have to say that I don't like it that much because the sents on the same fragance are different in the different product they offer per fragance. In other words the sandalwood soap is not the same as the cream and is not the same as the skin food. In the other hand, that particular effect its very rare but it happens in some types of skin. The alum Block may help before you apply the skin food. What I do recommend is to try Santa Maria Novella is real nice and works fine.

I have tried the Sandalwood skin food and I have a bad reaction to it. I have tried it over several weeks on and off and unforfunately can't use it. Smells great, oh well!!!

I had exactly the same problem with the Coral skin food. Loved the scent, but it did me no favours in the way of irritation.
