Thanked: 4Hello to all - this is my first post. Good thread to start on. I got into wet shaving about 6 weeks ago and now it's become somewhat of an obsession (perhaps you know that feeling). With my new found tools, I am beginning the phase of trying out different oils, soaps, creams, after shave etc...Yesterday I went into Sally's Beauty Supplies to see if they had any creams, they didn't, but they had clubman's aftershave lotion, talk, hair gel, and something called Jerries hair tonic (idk). I have read that anything with alcohol is bad for the face, but my thought process didn't subscribe to that and presently I want options - so I bought one of each for the variety. This morning I talked up my feet, and after my shave I splashed some after shave lotion on. The feeling was different than blam, which was awesome. Clubman didn't disappoint because I feel it's classic. Similar to oxford style shoes, not the stylish product, but more importantly, it will never go out of style. I felt like a true gentleman when I kissed my wife goodbye before my commute. She enjoyed the scent because it was different then my trusty sandalwood. Just a note, I used the clubman hair gel and interestingly it's pretty good too. I have been using $25 hair product, which leaves my hand oily when i tough my hair, but this stuff is good. I have yet to try the hair tonic and I am not sure what it does. Appreciate the time, Saludos!

Thanked: 0I am a fan of the Clubman Bay Rum after shave. It is a great summer scent and makes you feel like you are on vacation even at work!

Thanked: 33I used Clubman this morning, wonderful indeed. And I do rub it in, any chance to check out the BBS... And honestly, it leaves the skin nice and soft for hours afterward.

For me personally Clubman can't be beat for the price and amazing scent (same applies to Aqua Velva). I also use the Clubman hair tonic. The plus side is that the AS can be found at many places locally. Sally Beauty Supply sells both AS and Hair Tonic so that's where I get my stash.

I to love it for the nastalgia of a bygone era, but its just good stuff. I also have Clubman Musk and its just as good as original and the scent last and last. I remember my grandfather using the clubman gel ( I think it was called pommade or something like that ). AHHHH memories.

Thanked: 3I just bought a bottle of Clubman the other day and I've used it after every shave. It's great. Great scent. Also such a great price.
Random question but how do you guys say Pinaud? I think it's PEE-no but I'm not sure.
