The first time I used Clubman I had an instant flashback to the barber shop my Dad would take us to when I was a boy. I alternate between several, but Clubman and Lilac Vegetal are my co-favorites.

Second all the positives. I especially agree with the one about the talc. Great stuff!
I haven't been able to find the musk as yet, but I can see I will have to intensify my search.
SWMBO loves the scent more than either the Old Spice or English Leather I also use so I naturally keep using it.

The "original" Pinaud Clubman is just a classic scent. It is great to end a shave feeling like a man and smelling like a man; and I am maybe an oddball, but I like the burn....Lets me know I'm alive.

The classic Clubman is great, but I'm just in love with the Bay Rum right now. Living in Hawaii, the scent just seems right. Great scent and great skin treatment: what's not to love?

I love the Clubman as well. An added bonus
is I can buy it locally at Rite Aid. I wish the
had Lilac Vegetal was well.

Thanked: 25I got some Clubman original as a sample the other day and tried it last night and I too love it! I plan on buying a bottle Wednesday and putting it into my rotation. It will probably even become my primary aftershave. I also plan on picking up a bottle of some bay rum aftershave as well. Although the only place around here who carries any bay rum is Sally's beauty supply.
The Clubman is a bit strong right off the bat, but it quickly fades out to a nice classic manly scent. Im definitely hooked.

Thanked: 0What is the actual proper use of the talc powder? I have often thought of trying some and I see this brand in the major retailers.

Thanked: 25I know barbers used to use it after they shaved the back of your neck. I think it kind of helps protect the skin from irritation from things like a shirt collar. Thats not what I use it for, but I will say that I use it daily.

I'm a fan of the original stuff. Been using it for years, before i even started wet shaving. I reminds me of the barber.... Weird though, my wife says it smells like "pennies and blood"
