    I'm a barber, and finish off every shave with an application of talc.

    FYI: If you rub it on, it will make your face shiny. Whereas, if you just pat it on, it will leave a more matte finish. I actually recommend that if you have an old brush that you don't really use, make it your dedicated talc brush-- it works like a charm.
