Thanked: 1185I have never been able to use that stuff. It either made my face beak out red or it would cause the dust from work stick to it and make me come home looking a like Al Jolson in black face.
By the way I may be able to go down into Mexico and get you some pills for the metro sexual disorder thing :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I've been using St Ives Apricot scrub for years now. That stuff is great. I use it once or twice a week in the shower.

Many years ago, I started using a product called Pernox. It disappeared from the market and seemed to have been replaced by Multi-Scrub. That too went away and I started using Apri. Guess what? It disappeared also. St. Ives Apricot took its place. With each successive product, the consistency got a bit less scratchy and the smell improved. St. Ives seems to be a good one. And strangely, it's still around!

It appears that my baking soda experement has been running for a month and a half or so now, and my teeth are definately whiter, and I drink about 5 really quite large coffees a day. The only comment I have had was when I used baking soda at home and my wife said my breath smelled odd, but I think the stuff we had there was a bit "stale". I do keep a tube of real toothpaste in the cupboard but have only used it once. I should also say that I used to have slightly sensitive teeth and have not had any problems.

@edhewitt,
I tried it last night and it was effective in whitening. *I*, however, would not make it a daily thing after reading up on it on the net. From what I can gather, routine users of baking soda, hyperoxide, strawberries, etc., are likely to have accelerated recession of gums... I don't know that its 100 percent true, but I think I'll err on the side of caution and maybe use it once a week or something. YMMV.

Thanked: 62I can use the Anthony Logistics scrub everyday. I find it works very well for freeing ingrown hairs. I can feel the whiskers pop free from the skin when I use it (I shave every morning). Be careful to avoid the scrubs that contain crushed walnut shells and volcanic pumice, they can be very harsh.
It's not cheap, but I get about 100 applications from a tube.
