I'm a sucker for pin up art and have spotted a couple "antique" style scuttles with the holes in the soap dish but I don't know how they compare performance wise? The other thought I had was to make my own. I used to be pretty good on the pottery wheel and one "made by me" sure would personalize it. Plus, I could start making them for gifts.

If you all were getting custom scuttles what features would you need? want?
thanks,

I find that you have to balance heat retention for warmth and whipping up a lather. If you face lather antique works. Length of shaving time comes into play. When I start to make my routine into a mini series I think its time to question the process. Functional is most important, ridges are nice,
drainage holes have a place if you have one soap.
If you load a different soap scent based on your mood, you just want a whipping station. I would be curious to see your creative side come out.
