Best shave for me comes from thoroughly degreasing my face .
I don't know how to do that with cold water in a comfortable way.
Anyone suffering razor burn should also check reaction to soap or heavy pressure or bad angle. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Oil mats down the hair cuticles. Removing the oil fuffs up the hair lifting the cuticles making for an easier cut.
This is where the motto on some razors come from. "You lather well & I'll shave well."The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 3225I guess if you take the time to face lather that should pretty much degrease your face/lift the whiskers and bowl lathering not so much as you are just painting a coat of lather on.
