Thanked: 2I saw this on ETSY a few days ago, then found one on a local buy-sell site and picked it up yesterday. Works great. I don't imagine there is a huge difference between one Moss-type scuttle and another, but I'm sold on the concept. Used it this morning for a nice, slow 3 pass straight-razor shave, and still had warm / hot lather at the end. Pure luxury.

I use this bowl that I picked up at a thrift store for a dollar. The little ridges in it really help build a thick lather.
