den lighting
When selecting the' best' lighting for shaving? What bulb do you use to illuminate all those whiskers?
I am almost out of soft white and if any members had a preference tward anther bulb? (Hirlau, we already know you're using candles because you fell in love with a set of wreches at Barber Freight :-) )Last edited by whoever; 10-01-2016 at 02:46 AM.

Thanked: 4206Brighter the better for me. We had warm white and I switched to cool white fluorescents around the mirror. Easier to see to shave for my eyes as its a whiter light.

I have two 3 bulb units in the bath. Each is equipped with 100 watt flourescent bulbs.
It is very bright in our bath.If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

I use these GE L.E.D. bulbs in all the bathrooms,,, very bright, last longer than regular bulbs & don't generate much heat.

Day light LEDs from the orange box store the blue box store has them as well.
They come in many different styles standard bulb shape,candle,globe etc.
I changed out the whole house and saved about $ 30 a month on the electric bill.

I watched the video,,,
I didn't see the video prior to buying these , over a year ago.
I don't feel the heat from the bulbs at all, I stand under 4 of them lined up. If I were sitting next to four of them reading for hours, then maybe I would feel some heat.
I don't "Drop Test" my bulbs "3" times either.
I don't doubt the guy in the video, but his video won't stop me from buying more for other light sockets.
