Up until now I have been using Proraso cream with a scuttle but have just bought some Mitchell's Wool Fat to try. I have found that it seems to work better face-lathering than using the scuttle but so far have not achieved as good a result as with Proraso; the lather does not hold for the length of the shave.

I would be interested to hear how other people use MWF and for any tips from regular users.
