Thread: Liquid Lanolin

I absolutely love lanolin, but I've always used it as a final post shave treatment after the occasional rough shave. I will have to try adding it to my lather. It sounds like I'll really enjoy it.

I've tried applying it post shave, and as with glycerin it was just way too thick and sticky. I'm probably not doing it right (I just put a tiny bit in my hand, rub them together to spread it out, and pat/rub it into my face).

Still adding it to lather though, and it's still working great. Lanolin also seems to be more forgiving than glycerin in terms of how much you add and how that affects your lather.

Hmmmm..might have to investigate this substance you call lanolin. Sounds promising.
