    I use 2 to 3 parts castor oil to 1 part olive oil (cheap stuff) and add a couple drops of my preferred scent (lavender, sandalwood, etc.). Shake well & enjoy. I have found this to be a good replacement to the AOS preshave oil...

    Throwing this out there in response to "oily hands".....
    They have olive oil misters or sprayers on the market these days. I supose this same tool could be used to "mist" your DIY blend right on to your face without getting the mits oily! Just a thought......

    I also made some pre-shave oil using castor, olive and lavender oils. The pre-shave oil helps me during the cold, dry months.
