Wow - I never thought of using both lol! It might be a little overkill but how novel, and well, why not?

I'll give it a try too, but I am going to try it the other way: CF -> shower -> Proraso. Here is the reasoning: In the shower I soften my beard with soap or shampoo. I think the CF may aid that more, where the Proraso I find kind of "hardens" my whiskers and gets them ready for cutting... which is what I want just before the shave.

Well I gave it a shot lol. I'll go with overkill BUT my face sure is soft today lol.

The CF was on for about 5 before it got wet in the shower - then after the shower I did the Proraso. It was all good but I don't think it helped me get any closer - but then I have been getting good shaves for some time.

With the price of CF...
