I have now shaved several times with the new formula with silvertip badger, best badger, boar, and synthetic brushes. These creams perform better than the old formula with all my brushes. I think Proraso did their homework on these formulations. I am very pleased with the result.

Thanked: 13Hm. I have yet to see the new Prorasos in any store near me. I didn't know there *were* new formulas until I logged in here this morning. I'll be interested to try them, since the uh... 'old' Proraso is probably my favourite shave cream.

Thanked: 194I have tried both of the new ones and honestly have to say I dont like them. I prefer the original proraso soap much more than the new formula. The scent has changed on the new one and it just does not sit well with me. I bought every tub at two different shoppers drug mart to ensure I have enough for my lilfetime. I use proraso 5 times a week so I don't want to run out lol.

Thanked: 220I have never tried the ''old'' formula, but I sure love the ''new'' formula. Especially the soap.

To me, the new ones perform just as good as the old ones.

I originally didn't care for the sandalwood scent but it's growing on me. And to think I almost gave it away!

Thanked: 1263I have the old eucalyptus and the new sandalwood and must say I love them both...great soaps on the cheap But SWMBO quite likes the new sandalwood scent and I find everything about it great for the buck.

Thanked: 1936With mine, the old formula eucalyptus was in a glossy green tub, the new formula in a matte tub, same color. I think I have said this before, but my feeling is that the performance is on par, the smell is different. Personally I don't care for the new smell, but I will still use it as my performance "baseline" for my judging other shave soaps off of because it's consistent from tub to tub. I'm on my second tub of the "new" formula.
