I use it in door hinges when they get squeaky.

They have sales from time to time. Last year shaving soap cakes (pucks) were £3.00 (50% off) I won't be needing to buy more soap until about 2018.

I was in there yesterday and picked up some soap for £5 per cake. It was only £1 and I'd only gone to get a cake of Nomad for the father in law. I ended up getting myself one too.

I'll keep my eyes open though, we have a shop on our doorstep.

Dave, I think it is worth a try. When I started shaving at 16, I used a disposable for a week or two and then moved on to shavettes as I sported a goatee and the shavettes were easy to control, I also used hairgel for transparency so I would know where to cut, to be honest it worked well for me. I believe that shaving gel would obviously be better.

    Goodluck,
    Hal.
