I use it like Proraso or Prep pre/post cream, rub it into the skin until it disappears, then apply lather, and shave. My shaves seem to be slightly closer, and my skin feels great after . I use it instead of after shave. I just rub it into my skin! I prefer the smell to most after shaves anyway and my girlfriend likes it too
