I hope so too. I read about Listerine and Aqua Velva originally being aftershave and mouthwash, respectively, at the Art of Manliness web page. I think they had some old ads, also.

They both had the same basic ingredient . Alcohol :<0) Those were simple times with simple solutions. Now you get poison and because it only kills 49 out of a 100 rats it's considered less the 50% chance it will kill you. That is acceptable as long as you don't find out.

These old ads remind me of the sage advice for pregnant women in Britain decades ago - a pint of Guinness a day makes for a healthy baby!

I'm sure back then more than a few ladies followed their doctor's orders lol
