Thread: Cologne anyone?

I have to say that I like that my aftershave isn't strong and is gone shortly afterwards. Now when I say gone I mean that unless you come very close or give me a hug you won't smell it but it's still there. I have come home from work and my wife has commented on my aftershave after a hug. IMO that's the way it should be. Now on a special occasion like a date with the wife I will dress up and wear a cologne along with my dress leather jacket. When I do it is special and my wife takes notice but even then it's one spray on neck and for a weaker cologne maybe one more on the wrist but normally just the one on neck. Guys that reek of cologne make me wonder why they just wouldn't take a shower instead?
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

I don't normally wear cologne but there's one I want to try it's Floids Blue cologne every time I go to order some it's sold out. From what I understand it smells just like the Floid Blue aftershave. I really like the smell of Floid's Black and there shave Balm.

My favorite by far is Narcisso Rodriguez but also Terre D'Hermes and Aramis come close second

I am growing to like Halston AS and cologne. I don't use cologne very often, though, and when I do I use it as sparingly as possible. Never could stand a woman with a huge, overpowering cloud of perfume following her around, and I'm pretty sure that works in reverse, as well.

Is it just me or the older some women get the more their perfume taste turns to "weed killer" variety. Do their smell buds die off as they age? Perhaps it's a negative cycle of their perfume actively killing their sense of smell hence the need for ever increasing quantities?

I used to live by Armani Acqua Di Gio, but my girlfriend gave me a bottle of Versace last week and I really like it. Both are very light with one little daub, and unholy and overpowering with more than that.
+1 on the girls/guys who's perfume/cologne can be seen in the air with a lazer-pointer - haha - I encounter that all too often on campus. Not so much here, though, as I did at A&M.

Thanked: 2I've been enjoying the Trumper colognes. My favorites are GFT, eau de quinine, wild fern and the eucris EDT. You can get a sampler pack from their web site that has about 10 cologne samples along with some shave creams and their skin foods.
