yea, the missus doesn't like bay rum either but I simply tell her how it is and then everything is as right as rain

Is 105 in my shop right now,Been turning animal products all day,sweating like a pig.
After my shower and shave I will splash all over with bay rum cut 50/50 with witchazel,the wife will be pleased that I smell better than I do Now.CAUTION
