Thread: Pinaud Clubman Aftershave

I use Pinaud Clubman every day. There is just something about the classic smell that I love. Fortunately, my wife likes it too. Perhaps the best $6 shaving purchase ever.

clubman is the one I get the most comments on. Its like you just left the barber chair.

I like it, but it smells more like witchhazel and cinnamon (cheap?) than real bay rum. I like this stuff, maybe not a bargain, but I like it.

I read this thread yesterday, and this morning I thought I'd go with the Clubman too, 'cause I really like this stuff. Well, this weekend my wife cleaned the bathroom counter, and when she put all my potions, lotions, unguents and balms back in their places, she got the Clubman and the Lilac Vegetal bottles in the wrong spots...now, I like the old vintage glass bottles, but the Clubman and the Vegetal bottles are identical (except for, of course, the labels). Well, you guessed it...I grabbed the wrong bottle and smeared a fistful all over my face....so, I'm pretty much spending MY day smelling like a urinal mint!

Are you kidding me... In the US the Pinaud is in the cheap stores It should be about 3 Pounds.

I know, I know. It's part and parcel of living on this fair isle.

Anyway, I happen to be flying to Miami on business next week. Getting a cab to Boca Raton as soon as we land (that's where the office is) and within 24 hours turning around and coming back to UK. My question:

Any of our Floridians know whether Miami airport sells Pinaud Clubman aftershave (or come to that, other interesting shave-related stuff)?

I googled the airport and there appears to be a sundries/drugstore near Gate D , it might carry Clubman. Most drug store chains carry it so you might find one where your office is.

Duh, I should have known to do that myself.

Most of the nationwide drug chains carry it. CVS, Walgreen's, Long's, etc. Wal-Mart is also a good bet.
