    Default L'Occitane En Provence

Stumbled into L'Occitane En Provence shop which imports French made product including a collection of men's colognes, aftershave balms and shaving creams. I am wondering if anyone has tried any of their products and what is their opinion of these products? I was able to get a free sample of their aftershave balm called CADE and the ingredients are Cade Juniper. Oak, Sandalwood, Silver Birch, Shea Butter, Rosemary and Immortelle.

I personally love the shaving soap. I haven't tried any of their other men's products, though.
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

I have their hard soap. The scent is almost nonexistent, it does have good cushion and glide and lathers easily. The only thing I don't like is it leaves my skin feeling grippy after a shave.

I am in agreement with RezDog concerning the shave soap.

On the other hand, I am a huge fan of their almond scented bath soaps and lotions, mainly because of the scent.

I have the shave soap and balm. Both products work well although I'm not a fan of balms period. I like the scent of their CADE, like mot French soaps I suspect, always a very light scent.

Yea, I'd go along with RezDog on the shave soap. Works well enough but not on the list to replace when it's gone.

Just tried their aftershave balm Cade not bad but nothing too write home about to be fair it was a sample pack so maybe I could not really appreciate the aftershave. I may just pick up a small tube and also try their shaving cream.

All their products are very high quality. I'm a big fan of Cade shower gel, as well as Eau des Baux cologne (vanilla spice). The Cade shave cream in the tube is excellent.

    Giorgio,

I do like their shave soap, but find their shave cream low in quality.

I agree with Obie, I would go with the Cade soap instead of the cream. Don't get me wrong the cream isn't horrible the soap just lathers easier. I also have their Vetyver cologne and it is one of my favorites although I believe they discontinued it.
