I’m wearing the classic Clubman Pinaud today for Clubman Friday.

Classic for this fine Friday and the start of the weekend...

This morning as I was enjoying that intoxicating cloud of memory a thought came to mind: "you could spend more on something else, but it would not bring you back to a time and place"

For me: I'm 10 years old, my Dad is in Vietnam. I'm sitting in my Grandfathers Barber chair in the front of the shop, my Uncle, Dad's older brother is on station a few chairs away. My crew cut has been finished and Grandpa has razor trimmed my neck and around my ears (and you don't have to be told not to move).
And then the strong hands, the Clubman...followed by: "Now sweepa da floor" (Heavy Italian accent) - Then you wash your hands and fill the hot leather dispensers...

I have two of his razors - and HM Christensen and a Hart HMC (Hart bought Christensen in 1912 IIRC)
And it has been five decades since I sat in that chair...

Clubman will do that to ya[emoji3]...great story Sir !

I'm not shaving today, but I am slapping on some Lime today as I head out to Harbor Freight.

Went with Vanilla today.

My Vanilla is disappearing faster than normal lately.

My son denies everything. I could add a scale to put the bottle on for my alarm system but we will first try this.
