Heard a report on NPR that the Florida Citrus Crop (especially Grapefruit - my favorite) is in serious danger from a Bacteria infestation called "Greening" - if i recall the report I heard correctly. It's passed from tree to tree by an insect. It's evidently a huge problem and citrus crop production is in great peril. The bacteria has evidently gone state-wide and it's killing citrus production. 90 percent of groves are affected. I also know that Canker Virus has killed many groves in Florida over the years, so the entire production of Oranges from the Orange state is under attack.
So, Citrus Musk today with a tall glass of grapefruit juice.
Hopefully the cost of grapefruit juice won't go sky high. And I hope the citrus farmers in Florida can get through this horrible disease cycle. The report said that most smaller farms are not expected to survive this disease. Very sad.

169.0 miles and 8 galleries/shops later the tour is done. Add in their the cheese factory and Cabellas I am a few hundred poorer than when I started the morning.
But I smelled good doing it!
I don't know about grapefruit in particular but so many of these crops are clones of a few plants that if a disease or something gets into them that they aren't resistant to it can wipe out the whole bunch.
Variety is not only the spice of life but the answer.
Says the guy that has not used hardly anything but Vanilla lately.....

I'm having a love affair with Clubman Citrus Musk lately. SWMBO even likes it, and believe me, she doesn't like ANYTHING in the way of cologne.
So Citrus Musk again today, Saturday, just because.
