To much Veg, time to go to bed!

The problem is investment versus return,,, I can't use it as it is,,, I need to have a hole tapped in the end of the press rod, so a punch will fit in it & a retainer screw drilled in the side to hold the punch. I can't drill into that hard of steel with my hand drill. I will have to pay someone to do so,,, & I don't see that being less than $30.00.

You have a drill press. What is the advantage of having to modify something you don't have to accomplish the same thing?

I was thinking of a press to form the leather.

The press is for snaps & stamps. Not for forming leather.

Done with stamps and a hammer....

Man that's Hardcore,,, couldn't you have stamped , "Love Thy Neighbor" ?
