Default Aqua Velva Musk is awesome!

The other day I kept getting a hint of this wonderful smell and could not place my finger on it. It was wonderful, but came and went erratically. Finally, I realized I was smelling Aqua Velva Musk on my palm. I hadn't rinsed my hand after shaving the night before and man it smelled great!!! I shave at night and generally by morning I have no hint of aftershave, but this stuff really hung on and aged well. I am sure there is some lingering odor from the night before, but nothing that smells this good. This has become my new favorite, though it can be a little strong initially. It is super cheap and I would suggest checking it out at your local store. If you find the initial burst enticing I would bet you will love the mature smell of it.

The Ice Blue is for sure a cooling aftershave. If you are feeling really wild go Proraso Menthol, cold water rinse, and Ice Blue...the cold water rinse feels like your face is freezing off. I honestly didn't expect Aqua Velva Musk to be such a winner, but I am happy it is.

Definately a fan of the Musk! Actually just slapped some on just a bit ago after testing the edge I just put on my Friodur. It annoys me though that its not available (that Ive seen) in larger than the 3.5oz bottle, and that here in the EU its pretty hard to find and is ca €12/bottle....

The trouble with A/Ss, EDTs and colognes are that they can react differently to peoples chemistry. In some cases giving off weird funky scents. If you have to trash any of the Aqua Velva A/Ss it is no biggie as they cost little. Being addicted to the Ice Blue I have not gotten around to the others. Guess it is about time I did.

LOL - Bob's correct, scents react differently to different people...I put a tiny dab on to try it, and felt the room expand with this powerful, cloying smell.

I think all the smoke detectors went off in the neighbors house as well....

Immediately went and washed what I could off, a dab on my neck, and I swear I could smell the stuff for day's afterwards...but again, it's cheap, if you like it, great, if not, no biggie!

I get the same effect from Tobs sandalwood. I have a whole bottle of the stuff collecting dust.
