Two of my favourites are:- Hermes un Jardin en Mediterranee EdT, and, Rance Le Vainqueur EdP.

I'm out of the Hermes but another purchase is near.

    YSL L'Homme
    YSL La Nuit De L'homme
    ADG EDT and Essenza
    Mugler Cologne
Bleu de Chanel, Allure Homme Sport
    Dior Homme
    Al Rehab Silver
    Nautica Voyage
    Azzaro Chrome Legend
    Jon Varvatos Artizan Aqua
    D&G Pour Homme

For comparison for fall/winter I only have
    Paco Rabanne -Invictus,
Thierry Mugler -Pure Malt, Pure Leather
Lanvin - Avantgarde (this one is super underrated and very reasonably priced)
    Boss #6

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I gravitate towards what are marketed as unisex scents and they tend to be more spring/summer oriented.
I have a pretty big collection but the houses I have more of are
    - Santa Maria Novella pretty much all of them are in the category except for the spanish leather and it works too
    - Hermes a bunch of of the jardins and hermessences
    - Dyptique
    - i Profumi di Firenze

The ones that I wouldn't consider spring/summer-y are mostly because they're too formal (the creeds, tom fords, knize ten, c&s, penhaligon's hammam, floris 89, etc.) and only a few like cacharel seem just better suited for the winter months.

I think it important to realize that the sillage (scent felt across the room) which we expect from heavier winter scents, such as Route du Vetiver (and others of its ilk), Gucci Pour Homme, John Varvatos Original and many more is simply non-existent in the summery, more floral and/or citrusy scents. But while these summer scents might lack sillage, most of them have a long-lasting close-up longevity; that is, if you're dancing a slow one with her, and she's close, you can be sure she'll notice the scent in its fullness, not merely a suggestion of what once was, or might have been.

Many typically "winter" scents get confused by their low-sillage but strong close-up longevity. A good example is Jo Malone Black Vetyver Café -- twenty minutes after you apply it, you'll swear it's dissipated, but when she's close-by, chatting you up, believe me, she's smelling it. Don't be put off by a summer scent that doesn't scream I'M STRONG... SMELL ME.

Hi JB - great to hear from you!

My favourite aftershave, the 1970's, Givenchy Gentleman, is one that has little sillage, great word, had never heard that before. After application, it is almost undetectable, but up close, it's a killer. Made me chuckle when you said, "she's smelling it", this aftershave has always been a hit, I've had women tell me frequently how good I smell, and the occasional hug as a result. When they ask what it is, I don't really say, this is my aftershave, so from now on when they ask, going to says it Sillage pour Homme....
