Thanked: 603Spring/Summer Scents
I was looking at my online calendar last night, and noticed that this coming Friday evening (20 March 2015) is the Vernal Equinox... as in Spring. As I walked past my dresser, I did a quick 20:20 on the collection, and realized that out of 50+ eaux de cologne|toilette|parfum only three were legitimate Spring/Summer scents.
How about you guys? What's on-deck and in the batter's circle?
Lacoste Lacoste (original)
Nina Ricci Signoricci
Guerlain Vetiver
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

There is an area in my backyard where we have ferns and lily of the valley. In the spring it smells a lot like D.R. Harris Arlington soap. I might just pick up some Arlington aftershave or cologne this month.

Thanked: 2591I realized I have more spring/summer or all year round scents than pure fall/winter ones.
My spring/summer are:
YSL L'Homme
YSL La Nuit De L'homme
ADG EDT and Essenza
Mugler Cologne
Bleu de Chanel, Allure Homme Sport
Dior Homme
Al Rehab Silver
Nautica Voyage
Azzaro Chrome Legend
Jon Varvatos Artizan Aqua
D&G Pour Homme
Davidoff -Cool Water
Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey pour Homme
Guerlain Vetiver
For comparison for fall/winter I only have
Paco Rabanne -Invictus,
Thierry Mugler -Pure Malt, Pure Leather
Lanvin - Avantgarde (this one is super underrated and very reasonably priced)
Boss #6

Thanked: 603I'd forgotten about Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey pour Homme -- yes, it's a very nice Spring/Summer scent. I've got an unopened box, sitting in my closet... for close to ten years; seems I'd (over)worn it during the late-1990s, so there it languishes.
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I have the Lacoste. It is a discontinued scent. It is fresh, a bit herbal, but fades rather quick.

Thanked: 2591Used the ADG Essenza today, sprayed it at 11 am still smell it on me now 10-11 hours later.
Another very long lasting one with great scent is the Nautica Voyage it is also very low cost.
Mugler Cologne is very long lasting with very fresh scent, and the prices on ebay are very reasonable.Stefan

I could use a spring/summer scent. My problem is that they usually fall apart on me after an hour or so leaving behind nothing but a weak baby powder scent that struggles for dominance with my fabric softener. My body chemistry just doesn't seem to work with them very well. The scents from Amouage hold strong all day, and the next. But, insanely expensive.
