    Looking pretty sweet, the big question is where is the styptic?

    To the left of the equipment is a medicine cabinet, where the styptic, DE blades(Sharks) & the cup that his brush soaks in are located.

    Sweet! I wish my father had taken the time to teach me the proper way to shave. Even if he doesn't stick with it, the father/son time is invaluable. I look forward to the same day with son...only about 13 years or so down the road. Cheers John.

    My father spent 5 minutes with me,,, handed me a Bic disposable, Barbasol & told me to put a piece of toilet paper on the cut when it bleeds.

    For me it was the other way, My father was shaving with gillette 4/5 blades and because mine liking the DE and straight razor shaving
    he is now converted to a DE shaver so for his fatherday present I bought him some soap last year and for his birthday an Merkur Progress
    He is now DE shaving well over a year.

    A much nicer setup than my Dad gave me or I gave to my son.

    IIRC, my first shave was with my Mom's Gillette Adjustable.
