I bought a big bottle of the Epsilon Blue which is supposed to be a ringer. Never tried the Flood either.
Sort of like AQV only stronger, I think.
Think I will send a sample to Tc for comparison as he is using the old stock stuff. Has a 'stash'.

Just out of pure curiosity, to get an idea what the stuff smells like, I just ordered a puck of RazorRock Blue Barbershop soap off of EBay for $10.99 with free shipping. At some point, I will have to consult with one of the Floid aficionados to see if it's close.

Razorock's take on Floid Blue is their Blue Barbershop line.
They have aftershave and soap. I'm not sure if Floid Blue was ever offered as a soap.

Some people say that the scent is spot on, some say not even close.

Tom I wish I did have a stash, but I don’t. Dave is sending me some, not sure if it’s the original or not. Andrew up north was sending me a bottle and it was an issue with customs(?). But if he comes around I still want that bottle.

As for the soap Pete, can’t say I never tried it, don’t get me wrong guys this AS is not great. But in cheap AS it’s my favorite. I,m a big fan of Aqua Velva Ice Blue. My wife doesn’t like any cheap splash at all, so when I’m home it’s the good stuff, but I,m gone more often than not so I use the cheap stuff. Flood Blu is just really good and the smell for me is great.

Just got the Razorock Blue Barbershop soap this afternoon.
Haven't used it yet, but it smells terrific.

The Razorock Blue Barbershop soap performed admirably. Does everything well. The scent is very much to my liking. I'm anxious to find out how it compares to the Floid Blue. I would put it somewhere on Obie's tier 2 list.
For $7.99 at Italian Barber it's a bargain for sure. I paid $10.99 with free shipping on eBay.

Is it sort of like AQV, only stronger, Pete?

Tom, I haven't used aftershave since I was in high school.
Have absolutely no idea what AQV smells like.

I'm basically an unscented witch hazel guy.
