    I didn't measure, but I put a full tablespoonful into each 8oz flash of homebrew, and the result didn't change the viscosity at all.

    went to two walgreens today and neither one had it.

    +1, I agree! The typical glycerin sold in normal pharmacy sections is from animal products. You can get vegetable glycerin in health food stores. I find feels less "thick".

    Whole Foods has it - Pure Vegetable Glycerine pint for $7 nice bottle.

    So...I have heard someone say that the ultimate shave can be had with this suggested solution AND; by adding a "squirt" of this modified shave cream to the mix when using soaps.

    Any thoughts on this idea?

    I think maybe yer talking about an Uberlather which is Shave creme, Glycerin and Shave soap mixed???????
    That is a whole different animal, for a whole different thread LOL

    Like I always say those guys at B&B have lather making down to an art, they have way more time to work at it than we do..

    Those are some threads about what I think you are talking about just add a few drops of glycerin and that gives you the Uberlather
