Thread: Adding Pure Glycerin to Aftershaves

Ok, well I took ten glycerin suppositories today and test shaved. I dont think it really helped. Its hard to see myself in the mirror from the toilet, and my bay rum still burned like hell.

I looked and looked yesterday for some pure liquid glycerin, but the only stuff I could find was the suppository's (which I seriously thought about getting to try...) and some stuff with Rose water in it. If I would have thought about it I would have bought it because that is essentially what Trumpers Skin Food is...glycerin and rose water. It was only like $3 but I didnt get it because I was looking for the pure stuff to add to the aftershaves. I may go back and get it. It was a pretty old container, at a pretty old Longs pharmacy. Wouldnt be surprised if this stuff's not in production anymore. I havent tried Wal-mart yet for the glycerin, that will be the next stop.

In norway it goes under the name Glyserol and can be bought at a pharmacy

I thonk i got the wrong stuff... I was watching an old cowbow movie and thought the glycerin came off old dynomite....that stuff really burned...
