    Default the 'old' stuff

I enjoy using all clubman aftershaves, but partial to the clubman classic for that old time barbershop scent.

I've got waaay too many aftershaves to post them all, but I've got a favorite recently.

Alt-Innsbruck!! This stuff has the menthol kick I love, and a great earthy tobacco fragrance that lasts for a good while.

The only cologne I use is Hoyt's which I put in a glass atomizer I got at the local healthfood store (Greenlife) for less than a buck. It's got much more staying power this way than out of the bottle and has a great old-man scent (originates from 1868) That I love!

CAR's Hydrolast Conditioner is excellent as an after shave. You only need a smidge but it goes a long way. It's all-natural, which doesn't hurt. Unfortunately, Charles has turned people off to anything he sells with his lofty writing. I can't speak for Method Shaving overall but the after shave is a keeper.

As for cologne, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male is my staple.

Vergulde hand after shave balm. Smells like old fashioned shaving soap.

I use all sorts of stuff:

    Em's Place witch hazel splash
    QED DaVinci water
    Nivea ASB
    Floris Santal ASB
    AV splash and AV balm
    Old Spice
    English Leather
QED A/S conditioner in various scents
    Polo Sport ASB
    Penhaligon's Opus 1870 balm
    Speick a/s splash and balm
    Brut a/s splash and balm

I usually like to mix up the splash followed by a balm, then a cologne that matches....the Floris balm is just wonderful,, but I tend to have a little dry skin.

I have yet to try the GFT skin foods, but I'll get around to them eventually

If a person wants to use both a splash and a balm, I think this is the best way to go. Usually, splashes (especially those with alcohol) aren't as moisturzing as balms so it's best to use the moisturizing balm over the drying splash.

Since my last post on this thread I've added Old Spice,
Aqua Velva, Pinaud's Lilac Vegetal and Captain Smith's
    Caribbean Bay Rum.

Brut, Old Spice, Aramis's JHL, Stetson Black, and good ol' Gillette after shave balm.
