I like qed's sandalwood scent a lot and I find that I can still smell it at the end of the day when I use it to lather up one last time after shaving to make sure my face is clean and then rub in some nivea replenishing balm and splash on some regular witch hazel. And my sense of smell isn't a hundred percent yet as I recently quit smoking. I wonder if a certain skin type will allow the soap to smell stronger (dry skin might absorb more soap and smell stronger? dry skin might absorb more soap but will not release as much scent? oily skin will repel the soap more/not take on the scent? oily skin will repel all and keep the soap on top/allow it to give off more scent?)

My question is this.... What is there to use to firm and tighten up after shaving that wont cover the soap scent I really like ?

It's always been my way to wear unscented deodorant so that I can smell like my cologne and NOT must scented deodorant.

It's expensive but I'm pretty hooked on Trumper's Skin Food.

I normally use an alum block, pat my face dry, then rub in a squirt of Skin Food. I like the Sandalwood best but the Coral goes better with some soap fragrances.
