    Default witch hazel

today while rollin around my local wally world waitng on some med to be refilled I ran across some witch hazel with 14% alcoholand I was wondering if I could sent it and use it when I run out of my smelly witch hazel. now for the question what could I sent it with and how much? I was thinking something like rosemary and sage dried herbs or something like that

It sounds like what your trying to do is make an herbal extract. I would google for "making herbal extract" (using alcohol) and "making herbal infusion" (using water).

Here's a link that might be handy.

Have you ever smelled the Thayers brand of witch hazel? It actually smells pretty good to me. I just purchased a bottle of the original alcohol-free. I agree straight witch hazel doesn't smell very good though.

I've experimented with just that and no matter what you do that smell seems to affect whatever you put in. It also doesn't look very nice. I know there are some commercial products which are witchazel based but they must use other chemicals to stabilize the stuff. Personally, I use thayers now.
