Deciding on which Ogallala.
Limes and Peppercorns or Sandalwood?
I searched and could not really find a discussion on either. Can someone throw a guy a bone here. I use Old Spice which is a bay rum type.

Why don't you get a couple of sample bottles from them? If you like the old spice I would think you would like the sandalwood more though

I just received their soap sample pack a couple days ago. They included Bay Rum Aftershave and Limes and Peppercorn free samples. What did I try last night? Bay Rum, otherwise I could comment on the Limes and Peppercorn.
+1 on what CarrieM said, get some samples from them. They have a sample package for sale on their website. But if you contact them, I have the feeling they'd set you up with whatever you want in terms of sampling.

The sandalwood is awesome, I love it! The L/P smells promising from bottle, but I havn't tried it yet.

They are both OUTSTANDING! But, I will say, my absolute favorite,. hands down, is the Sandalwood. My dear, lovely wife, however, is not a fan, so it is now only for days she is travelling. Oh well...
The limes/peppercorns she doesn't hate as much, and it feels REALLY nice.

I've been doing my own field test on Ogalall's special reserve double strength. Yesterday my wife told me to get out of the field and come inside. Well you can imagine how disappointed I was at not completing the test so I.... Okay, I really wasn't out in a field. But I have been using it for a couple of months and it is not for the weak nosed. Very intense at first, then fades to a "you gotta get close to smell it" level. Remember the guidline on mens and womens colognes. The scent should leave the room with you, not linger after the door is closed.
Try putting some on your forearm. Later in the day take a sniff. Unless you washed it off, the wonderful Bay Rum scent will still be there.

I used the Lime and Peppercorn flavor last night. It might be my imagination but I thought I could feel heat on my skin from the aftershave. I got the normal alcohol burn but I thought there was heat as well. I thought maybe it came from the peppercorn. Anyway, I liked the sensation.
I give the Lime and Peppercorn a thumbs-up. I thought it smelled nice and cooled my face. It did leave my skin a little dry though.

My favorite is the sandalwood, even though the lime and peppercorn is good too. +1 on getting their samples, I haven't found one of their flavors I didn't like, I even like their soaps. Their colognes are good too. The special reserve of course is the strongest I just wish they had it with sandalwood. Ogalalla has 2 samples you can get. They have a 2oz bottle of regular bay rum for a penny and they have what they call the bonanza (all 5 in 2 oz samples for$15.95) they seem to always send a little teaser with each order also. Here's their website.
Ogallala Bay Rum
Look under Colognes and Aftershaves then you can always hunt through the rest later. Happy hunting.
