Yeah Prof she seems pretty cool. Even her handwriting is "bubbly". I bet she's a honey ;-) ...................Jeff

Report on the 'New' balm
Got my care package from Brittany yesterday with the new 'Ultimate Comfort' shave balm sample. As I think I may have mentioned, T&H expects to release this new product toward the end of December. I've not yet seen it on their web site, so stay tuned.
I don't know that my first use of this product was really a fair test. I also received my first Lynn Abrams razor yesterday, a really beautiful AMCO (but that's another story). Anyway, I cleaned up the new razor, lathered up with some T&H Ultimate Comfort 'unscented' shave cream (also a sample courtesy from Brittany), and was wowed by the easiest shave of my relatively short str8 career. I knew a Lynn sharp razor would make a difference, I couldn't imagine how much. I've now got a new skill level to shoot for when honing.
Anyway, to get back to the product(s). I really like the UC shave cream. Seems to be a slightly denser, creamier lather than their scented creams although prior to using this cream, my favorite was/is T&H 1805. I guess I'll have to try them side by side to give a fair comparison--stay tuned for that. After the shave, a good rinse, and a cold water splash, I applied some of the new balm. I found ThreePutt's description to be dead on. Consistency about mid way between Trumpers Skin Food and the 'Classic' T&H Balm. Unfortunately, like I said earlier, I don't know that this was a fair test of the product because having shaved with a new razor from Lynn, I had absolutely no irritation, so no real need for a shave balm. The balm was, however, fairly quickly absorbed--although not as fast as either the 'Classic' or the Skin Food. It really is mild, no tingling whatsoever. Given this first use, I think I'd prefer the 'Classic' balm and would probably use Trumpers Skin Food during warmer times of the year or when a balm is not needed to sooth anything more than mild shaving irritation.
To be fair, I'll have to do some damage to my face with a less sharp razor, apply the new balm then report back. Normally, I'd not inflict this upon myself, but for you guys... . Stay tuned.

I got a care package from Geo Trumper yesterday. WOW 6 sampls of shaving cream 2 samples of skin food and 8 samples of cologne. I used the lime shaving cream and lime skin food today and my face is grinning at me. Great shave and boy is it smooth. I love the shaving cream not sure of lime scent yet but the cream itself was really top shelf. I will be trying the remaining 5 over the weeks will keep you updated.
