New balm from T & H soon
I got a msg from Brittney at T & H the other day and they have formulated a new balm that sounds like heaven. A few of us, myself included, get a bit of a burn or irritation with the classic unscented balm they make. I've been giving them feedback on this and she's sending a sample of their new one, it should be hitting the shelves by the new year. Here are her comments on it ~ "...I am going to send you a lab sample of our NEW Ultimate Comfort Aftershave Balm. The balm is not on the market yet and will not be for a few months, but it is an excellent product. It is our new balm formulation that contains no alcohol, its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-irritant. You are receiving the only sample that I have to give away; I would love to hear your feedback. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! I think it’s a great product & I hope you do too!!"
I AM looking forward to trying it and, of course, will air my thoughts here. Sux about the only sample thing, but hey, lucky me! Overall, T & H products beat 'em all for me.

I'm pretty impressed with the T&H PR Team. Brittney is really on the ball. I got a message from her after my T&H review a couple of weeks ago. They are also introducing a new pre-shave oil as well. Some of that is coming my way so I'll let y'all know how it works out as soon asI can. Would love to hear about the new balm. I love thier unscented balm.

The new balm sample from T & H came and I love it! As stated in my original post, it's called Ultimate Comfort After Shave Balm. There are some key differences in this one and their original unscented balm. This one is not greasy like the original one, and it actually soothes rather than irritates (the original unscented irritated me), a biggie for us str8 razor guys. I even shaved a little "hard" today to really see how good it is. It rinses off your hands with only water, whereas with the original unscented I needed to use soap to get it off of my hands. It is slightly heavier than the Trumper Skin Foods, but not much. It is essentially unscented, but there is a faint citrus scent when applying it. I had my wife sniff my face after an hour and she could detect nothing. It moisturizes very well, better than the skin food in my opinion, but it doesn't overdo it. The original balm by T & H would be perfect if you lived in an extremely dry and cold climate. T & H original is heavy, this one is more medium to light with good soothing, and the Trumper is light with good soothing. Have these three in your collection and you're covered. No pun intended. I am very happy with this one, and look forward to it hitting the market. So far this is my favorite out of all I've tried, and I've tried a pile of 'em. I'm gonna buy a BIG bottle :-)

Two days in a row with this new balm and I'm liking it more and more. Yesterday was sort of cool most of the day (for FL, anyway), and the moisturizing stayed with me all day. Today I was moving a bunch of computers around and worked up a sweat ~ good test for this stuff. I was wiping my face on my dress shirt and it didn't leave any residue. Didn't think about that until it was too late! I emailed Brittney back and she said it will hit the market next month WOOHOO :-)

I got a sample of the balm from them. I don't know if it is new or old but boy is it nice on your face. I used it today for the second time and I realized I need to buy some when the sample is gone.

Still waiting
I've been watching for the new balm, and sent off an e-mail to Brittany today to try to find out when it might be available, I'll let you know when I hear back from her.
Like ThreePutt mentioned, I too get 'a bit' of a burn from the classic; but I'd not trade it in on another product as it works so well. Anyway, the burn is no where near that of a styptic pencil and I figure it is working on the same nicks that need a bit of antiseptic anyway.
Jeff, did Brittany suggest what the price was likely to be on the new product?

No she didn't, no clue. I haven't checked their site lately to see if it's listed yet. I will definitely be in my arsenal. I'm hoarding my sample still though HAHA! It was actually a small 2 oz or so travel size plastic tube, so I have a good bit left. Looks like a small Jergens purse-size hand lotion tube. Jeff

Hey ThreePutt,
You're not the only one Brittney likes . I just got a reply and she said that the new balm is due to hit the market in late December. She also said that she is sending me her LAST sample of the new balm So the rest of you guys, eat your hearts out. I'll post a review as soon as it arrives...I'm sure it will only confirm what we've already heard from Jeff
